Cointiply contributes Coins from activity all across the site to a bonus pool for Miners. Offerwalls, the faucet, buying mining buildings, and playing games all add to the Bonus Mining Pool. Your share is determined by how much Mining Power you have compared to the all the Mining Power in the game. This means you are constantly competing with other miners for this part of your income.
Getting started - The basics
You need 34 MP to start earning coins. Each coin per hour is worth approximately 34 MP each, so 68 MP = 2CpH, 102 MP = 3CpH etc.
Basic Steps to Start Earning Coins:
Strategies
Currently there is no cap on building upgrades. Therefore the best min/max strategy is to put all your resources into your first carrier depot (or other building). This strategy ensures that your coins are always going to increasing your hourly coin production. This strategy is best with 100% reinvestment, where you keep reinvesting your profits indefinitely or until you reach your goal coin production.
Another strategy is to focus on only acquiring the most expensive buildings in order to save space. However the time it takes to build up your coins is time those coins could already put to increasing your profit. Since all MP costs the same no matter whether it's from upgrades or buildings and there is no level cap, it makes sense to continually upgrade the cheapest building so you can increase your MP as often as possible. Keep in mind that buildings can also be sold (for approximately 60% of their buy price initially) but become worth less over time. So it's better to avoid selling any buildings if you can, another reason why upgrading one building is a good strategy. In the future it is possible they will introduce a level cap on buildings, however Cointiply have stated that should this occur older mines will be "Grandfathered in" (i.e. you will keep your levels and MP).
